Tianzhi is a Ph.D. student at the Charles Edward Via Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He joined INFORM Lab in Fall 2019​. He has received his BSc in Engineering Management from Tongji University in 2019 and his MSc in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2020. His research focuses on human-building interaction for data-driven building-assisted human engagement.

Mostafa is a Ph.D. student at the Charles Edward Via Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He received his M.Sc. in Construction Management from Bowling Green State University in 2020 and B.Sc. Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2017. His research focuses on distributed energy management and energy network modeling at the city scale. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books, listening to music, and hiking.

Yueyan is a Ph.D. student at the Charles Edward Via Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering with a research interest in applying advanced information and communication technologies in the lifecycle of building and infrastructure systems to build a more intelligent and sustainable living environment. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, she received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Civil Engineering from Southeast University, China in 2017 and 2020, respectively. Her previous research focused on steel structures. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and singing.

Esteban is an M.S. student at Vecellio Construction Engineering and Management Program since Fall 2020. He obtained his B.S in Civil Engineering at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. His research focuses on Virtual Reality, Human-Building Interaction, and 360-degree sensing technology. His hobbies include playing soccer, hiking, traveling, and listening to music.

Harshitha is a Master's student in Bradley Department at Virginia Tech pursuing Computer Engineering. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, she did her Bachelors of Science at the University of Houston in Electrical Engineering in 2019. Her research focuses on detecting defects in railroads using Machine Learning techniques. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, photography, and binge-watching tv series.

Toufa is pursuing her M.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering at Via Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She obtained her B.Sc. in Architecture from Virginia Tech in 2020. Her research focuses on understanding how smart home ecosystems and virtual assistants could affect energy efficiency.
